welcome to NAVEM
For the employer, there is an element of risk when appointing someone to a management position for the first time. For that individual, there is an element of the unknown. Managers are appointed for myriad reasons, often thrown in at the deep end with little or no guidance regarding the skills of management. It is hoped and sometimes assumed that these skills will be picked up along the way or that courses will be made available sometime in the future. This is all very understandable - there's work to be done and we all need to crack on.
We understand that training can be time consuming and costly. Busy managers can ill-afford time away from the workplace. We have specifically designed this course to deliver maximum benefit to the delegates within either a one or two-day course without over-stretching the budget. We restrict the number of attendees per course ensuring the most effective participation and learning experience.
so, what's different about NAVEM?
Borne out of frustration with training courses that deliver too little, too late, we have designed this industry generic course to focus the minds of people who are put into management positions with limited or no previous experience.
NAVEM eases the transition for both parties by providing a no nonsense insight into the rules of management when it is needed most - in the very early stages of the management career. The emphasis is on providing an immediate tool kit for those new to management, because we recognise that what happens at the beginning will set the scene for the remaining tenure in that role.
If you:
• are studying management
• are about to move into management
• have recently become a manager or supervisor with responsibility for staff
then this course will interest you.
